1&1 Internet Launches New gTLD Pre-Order Portal and a Cloud Server Package

3 Mins read

Global Web hosting provider 1&1 Internet has today made two major announcements – launch of a gTLD Pre-Order Portal and a new cloud server package.

The news comes nearly two months after 1 and 1 Internet added Artful.ly, CraftIsArt, Meetup and Wanelo web apps to 1&1 MyWebsite and launched its Microsoft Exchange 2013 Hosting services.

New gTLD Pre-Order Portal

The new gTLD Pre-Order Portal allows website owners to pre-order the new gTLDs that’ll hit the market soon and provides domain news, expert advice articles and practical tips to plan a domain portfolio.

Website owners can browse the new domain endings at the portal and make a risk-free pre-order for the domain of their choice. This pre-order does not guarantee that a domain will be purchased, however, it is a useful step in exploring several options within the new web addresses.

“A new era in Internet addresses promises great opportunities for every business online. However, research released in March shows that the majority of SMEs are still unaware of the launch of new gTLDs,” said Robert Hoffmann, CEO Hosting, 1&1 Internet Ltd.

“1&1’s new pre-order portal comprises an excellent resource for website owners to learn about their options, pre-order their new domains now, and benefit from 1&1’s global scale and competence with domain registration,” he added.
