Two days after launching it’s Microsoft Exchange 2013 Hosting services, 1&1 internet today announced addition of four new Web Apps on 1&1 MyWebsite, a Do-It-Yourself website builder targeted to small- to medium-sized businesses. Launched in October 2012, 1&1 MyWebsite Apps can be integrated to enhance the functionality of a website.
These third-party applications allow users to implement big brands into their websites and streamline all online accounts into one, central location. For instance, an eCommerce shop may want to incorporate their Ebay shop or PayPal while a restaurateur will benefit from Yelp and OpenTable.
In a recent interview with DailyHostNews, Miss Kelly Meeneghan,Manager, 1&1 Internet did say that “We are planning to expand our Web Apps portfolio to provide even more convenience to our customers and in turn, their visitors.“
The four new Web Apps added are Artful.ly, CraftIsArt, Meetup and Wanelo.
Artful.ly: An online system to manage tickets, donations and contacts, Artful.ly Web App integrates an event-related widget on users’ MyWebsite to sell tickets for events, thereby significantly increasing lead generation and revenue for businesses.
CraftIsArt: CraftIsArt Web App integrates users’ CraftIsArt shop with their website in order to sell their products to an increased amount of visitors.
Meetup: Meetup is one of the world’s largest network of local groups. This Web App integrates the RSVP Meetup button directly on users’ website thereby making the process of registering for an event easy.
Wanelo: Wanelo is an online community for worldwide shopping. This Web App integrates the Wanelo save button into users’ MyWebsite, and allows visitors to add and share their products with the Wanelo community.
Other Web Apps that come with 1&1 MyWebsite are as shown below:
