1 Mins read

Dedicated server and infrastructure services provider Hivelocity has announced addition of  quad socket Intel Sandy Bridge E5-4600 systems to its dedicated server offerings.  The E5-4600 processors enable Hivelocity to offer dedicated servers with 32 physical cores of Intel processing power and up to 1 terabyte of memory. A while back, Hivelocity introduced  new live order tracking feature within their myVelocity customer portal.

The amount of physical cores these systems allow really lets our customers offer their customers a very powerful virtualized solution. The systems are not for everyone but for those that want the maximum amount of RAM and processor for their enterprise they are ideal. – Drew Adams, Sales Manager, Hivelocity.

Meany specially for enterprise customers whose system resource requirements are extreme,  quad-processor systems start at $1299 per month. The hyper-threaded E5 processors allow for 32 physical cores as well as another 32 virtual cores and  include Intel’s Turbo Technology which boosts clock speed at times of need.  In addition, Intel’s built in I/O reducer on each chip dramatically reduce Bottlenecks and latency thereby operating efficiencies.

“The older quad-socket E7 systems we sell as well have historically been popular with our customers offering VPS hosting.  The amount of physical cores these systems allow really lets our customers offer their customers a very powerful virtualized solution,” said Hivelocity’s Sales Manager Drew Adams.   “The systems are not for everyone but for those that want the maximum amount of RAM and processor for their enterprise they are ideal.”
