Viavi Solutions Inc. (VIAVI) has announced the availability of ApexNow, an app integration between VIAVI’s Observer Apex and ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) and Telecommunications Service Operations Management. ApexNow provides IT users with quick access to the VIAVI patented End User Experience (EUE) scoring model, further accelerating problem identification, analysis and resolution for IT users of Observer and the ServiceNow Platform®. The Observer application is available from the ServiceNow Store.

According to VIAVI’s State of the Network survey, SecOps and NetOps teams are managing new tasks from anywhere, and supporting the growth in unified communications, all while computing a skill gap. ApexNow enables application technicians with varying levels of training to quickly isolate issues by network, server, application or client domain, or physical location. The VIAVI EUE Score is underpinned by a machine learning (ML) process that harnesses the power of the Service Now platform to provide an insight into the root cause of a degradation to allow an automated remedial process execution.
