Smartworld adds Vertiv’s full range of IT infrastructure solutions to its portfolio
UAE-based leading systems integrator – Smartworld, has entered into a diamond partnership deal with a global provider of digital infrastructure and continuity services provider – Vertiv, to diversify and expand Smartworld’s portfolio and include infrastructure solutions in their offerings.
Smartworld is an expert in consultancy, design, operations, and maintenance of advanced technology solutions to support & accelerate digital transformation and enhance customer experience. Their technology portfolio covers ICT solutions, infrastructure solutions, ELV solutions, AV solutions, security solutions and other emerging technologies.
The newly formed partnership will answer the major data center challenges that are being faced in the UAE by allowing availability through Vertiv’s premium infrastructure and delivery speed by Smartworld’s expanded market exposure and reach. The partnership initially will focus on aviation and telco industries.
A large number of enterprises, across different verticals, have now adopted the remote or work from home model to facilitate business continuity and to safeguard their employees’ well being and also to surge the demand for connectivity. The new modes of working and increased need for connectivity have placed pressure on data centres and accelerated demand for backup power solutions.
This new agreement with Vertiv will allow Smartworld to add the former’s complete range of IT channel solutions into its own infrastructure portfolio. This includes thermal management solutions, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) solutions, racks and enclosures and the other core and edge data center solutions.
