NTT Ltd, a global technology and business solutions leader, is furthering its alliance with Microsoft to deliver enterprise telephony and connectivity to strengthen the hybrid working environment. NTT’s reliable and secure business solutions will assist enterprise customers to accelerate digital transformation initiatives. Microsoft has chosen NTT to be one of the launch partners for its Team’s Operator Connect. Operator Connect for Microsoft Teams simplifies business communications by providing public switched telephone network (PSTN) calling features.

As of today, Operator Connect offers carrier-grade telephone and support services in 39 countries. It offers extra and added features like compliance recording, call queue, video interoperability, and dynamic E119. NTT’s outstanding support and managed services provide end-to-end lifecycle support to their clients and customers. This paves the way for its customers to integrate holistic solutions across business functions for better customer experience and increased productivity.

This latest development is yet another key milestone in the strategic business alliance between NTT and Microsoft. Way back in 2019, the two global giants came together by committing to build the next generation managed services to enhance customer and employee experience. This was to be achieved via managed services built for Microsoft 365, Viva, and Azure Communication Services.

These next generation managed services were supported by NTT’s robust, intelligent and secure network. NTT is a proven global technology and business solutions leader with an impeccable history. It launched the very first commercially available private LTE/5G “Network as a Service” full stack solution called Private 5G. This alliance between NTT and Microsoft will continuously provide clients with advanced transformation, agility, and business automation solutions for their respective industry verticals. And thereby, helping them to navigate and shift to a hybrid working environment.

On the eve of this historic launch, Abhijit Dubey, CEO, NTT Ltd. said, “We’re proud to be strengthening our alliance with Microsoft and to be named as one of the first development partners to offer Operator Connect to Microsoft Teams customers. We also guarantee full lifecycle support services so that clients can enjoy a consistent and seamless experience. The pandemic has completely changed the way we work but has highlighted the importance of connectivity and communication. Operator Connect provided through NTT will allow businesses to connect and engage with their employees and clients no matter where they’re working from”.

Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President (Modern Work), Microsoft, said: “As a key strategic global partner, NTT has been an innovative and forward-thinking collaborator for Operator Connect. As we launch globally, NTT is already running the platform for several key clients and is providing high levels of advice, service, and support across 39 countries. We continue to strengthen our alliance to make real advances in how we take Teams Phone to market and enable the hybrid workforce.”
