IT Services Firm GlowTouch is now a Member of the i2Coalition

Custom application development and technology integration services provider GlowTouch Technologies, is now a member of i2Coalition, an organization which strives to educate legislators and members of the media about the Internet industry and the importance of legislative strategies that promote Internet growth and innovation.

“It’s exciting to be a part of a coalition that will help us provide our industry expertise to policymakers as they make industry-shaping decisions,” said Vidya Ravichandran, President, GlowTouch Technologies.

“With a unified voice, we can have a significant impact on the issues that affect the openness and potential of the Internet,” she added.

In an email conversation with Daily Host News in light of CISPA passing the house 288 to 127, Mr. Dawson said-

“I2Coalition remains steadfast in its opposition to CISPA, a bill that threatens to subvert certain fourth amendment privacy rights guaranteed to all Americans and undermine the competitive advantage of U.S. Internet infrastructure companies.”

In a blog post announcing the said development, Glow Host said that i2Coalition gives them a venue to promote the adoption of Internet technologies – from the growth of cloud computing to accessibility and usability for small and medium-sized businesses.

As a member of i2Coalition, GlowTouch will focus on finding ways to promote cooperation between the government and the web hosting industry through education. In a recent interview with DailyHostNews, Mr. Christian Dawson did emphasize on the need of educating lawmakers on legislative strategies that promote Internet growth.
