Following the AGM that took place on 29th September, iomart Group plc. announced that Crawford Beveridge will be joining the company as a Non-Executive director. He brings with him an overwhelming 40 years’ experience in the technology industry. The years include 16 of which he served as Executive Vice President and chairman at Sun Microsystems. He also worked at EMEA, APAC and the Americas, until his retirement in January 2010.
At the moment, he serves as the chairman of the investment advisory board at Scottish Equity Partners.
Angus Macsween, CEO of iomart Group plc. expressed his total satisfaction that Crawford’s impressive track record in the growing technology companies placed him in a better position to advice iomart as it expands its operations.

On his part, Crawford affirmed his delight in joining the board of one of Scotland’s leading growth companies.
Crawford’s other board roles include: Non-Executive director of Hitachi global storage Technologies, a subsidiary of Hitachi limited, and Non-Executive chairman of NASDAQ listed Autodesk.
