An Ecosystem Approach for EV Adoption

Countries have set timelines to reduce the manufacture of internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to meet targets specified in the Paris Agreement on climate change. But the share of electric vehicles (EVs) — the most practical replacement — was only 4% of global vehicle sales in 2020.¹  To accelerate adoption, EV makers need to amplify the network effect of other stakeholders in the mobility ecosystem.
