1. Tell us a bit about yourself and your work profile in UK2 Group.
Sure. I’ve been in the hosting industry for more than 15 years with a background in virtualization and Linux. Within UK2 I’m responsible for the delivery for our cloud platforms and products across all of our brands including VPS.net.
2. What are the services provided by your company?
We offer highly available cloud offerings running Windows and Linux. Within the group we also offer dedicated servers, shared hosting, enterprise class cloud hosting.
3. Give us a brief idea about various brands of UK2 Group.
Our main brands are UK2.net, offering shared, reseller, dedicated and cloud hosting. One of our hosting brands100TB offers high offers high specification Super Micro dedicated servers in the US and Europe. VPNHQ offers VPN tunnels in the UK and Europe and last but not least VPS.net is presently offering cloud web hosting in 6 locations which is soon going to rise up to 13.
4. What kind of support do you provide to the customers?
We have a true 24×7 support run out of our own offices. We offer customers the change to talk to us by phone, email, tickets and live chat. Our company offers solutions ranging from small unmanaged hosting through to full enterprise class private clouds. As a group we are strong and stable enough to can meet the needs and requirements of every customer.
5. What are your thoughts about eco-friendly hosting?
It’s vital that every company takes a responsible attitude towards issues such as global warming. By purchasing carbon credits companies can continue to grow whilst looking after the environment. Even small participation contributes.
6. What have been the successful rewards your company has achieved so far?
Our brands have won numerous awards for our customer service and industry disrupting products. We were the first company to break the 100TB barrier and we are regularly in the Top 5 of preferred hosting suppliers.
7. Any new products that UK2 has to attract its customers?
We have just launched our new product VPNHQ (www.vpnhq.com), which we are offering free for the first month with absolutely no commitments.
