Web Hosting provider Site5 partners with Comodo to offer SSL Certificates
We wanted to make sure we offered the right products at the right time in a manner that was easy for our customers to understand, purchase, and deploy. We strongly believe we have done that, and the response has been overwhelming.

Web Hosting provider Site5 now offers  SSL Certificates in partnership with the online security firm Comodo. The SSL certificates offered include   Comodo PositiveSSL, Comodo PositiveSSL Wildcard, and Comodo EV SSL and are available for free installation to existing customers through Site5’s Backstage account management platform.

Each of the above mentioned certificate include 128/256 bit encryption, unlimited reissuances, a free site seal, fast activation and by default  4096-bit RSA keys. The increased key length improves the security of encrypted communications. In addition to  4096-bit, 2048-bit and 1024-bit keys are also available to customers.

“Our customers have been asking Site5 to offer SSL certificates for some time. They trust us and we do not take that trust lightly. So we wanted to make sure we offered the right products at the right time in a manner that was easy for our customers to understand, purchase, and deploy. We strongly believe we have done that, and the response has been overwhelming,” said Tom Sepper, Chief Operating Officer, Site5.

Site5 offers a wide range of hosting services, including shared, reseller, cloud, and VPS hosting. Every web hosting plan offered by Site5 includes free website migration to Site5, nightly backups, the Backstage account management platform, SiteAdmin, and Easy Website Builder software with  a 99.9% uptime guarantee, a 30-Day free trial, and a 45-Day Money Back guarantee.
