Malwarebytes’ new Data Scan-and-Backup Service Prevents the Upload and Sharing of Malware

San Jose based anti-malware company Malwarebytes has released Malwarebytes Secure Backup, an online backup service that automatically scans files for malware prior to backup, thereby removing the threat of saving or sharing infected files. Convenient and easy-to-use, Malwarebytes Secure Backup scans for all documents, photos, music and videos on a users’ system and uploads them  to MalwareBytes’  US based data center. If a particular file is found to be infected, it is skipped, and the user is notified of the same. Users can also customize the individual files and drives they want  included or excluded from the backup.
