Oracle acquires Wercker with an objective to target developers

Oracle corporation, leading cloud and application service provider through an official statement on Monday announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Wercker, a Dutch startup which empowers developers to test and deploy code at a rapid pace. The terms of deals have not been disclosed as it is subject to some customary closing conditions. Per records both the companies will be operating independently till the final transaction closes.
