IBM and Red Hat Come Together to Help Enterprises Adopt OpenStack Cloud

IBM announced its strategic partnership with Red Hat on Monday at IBM InterConnect 2017. This move will help enterprises benefit from the speed and economics of the OpenStack platform when extending their existing virtualized and cloud workloads of Red Hat to the IBM Private Cloud. With this collaboration, IBM becomes a Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider. The offering which will be launched for general availability at the end of the month, will give more confidence to the IBM Private Cloud users for Red Hat OpenStack Platform and Red Hat Ceph Storage. As per the agreement, for IBM Cloud users, the Red Hat Cloud Access will be available by the end of Q2 2017.
