German Web Host Hetzner Online AG Launches Three New Dedicated Root Servers

German web hosting provider Hetzner Online AG today announced that it is now offering three new dedicated root servers, named  EX40 dedicated root server, EX40-SSD variant and EX60 dedicated root server. The new offerings include one 1 Gbit/s Port connection and 20 TB inclusive traffic.

The EX40 dedicated root server houses Intel® Core i7-4770 Quadcore Processor of the  Haswell architecture and 32 GB DDR3 RAM. Also, two 2 TB SATA 6 Gb/s Enterprise HDDs are used. Both hard drives are specially designed for sustained rapid growth in data volume and guarantee high reliability during continuous operation. It is priced at 49 euros/mo and a once-off setup fee of 99 euros.

The EX40-SSD variant, which has the same processor and RAM, is ideal for those who need fast access speed. This model is equipped with two 240 GB 6Gb/s SSD drives and is priced at 59 euros/mo and  a once-off setup fee of 99 euros.

The EX60 dedicated root server includes 48 GB DDR3 RAM,  Intel® Core i7-920 Quadcore Processor and two 2 TB SATA 6 Gb/s Enterprise-HDDs. It is priced at 69 euros/mo per month plus a setup fee of  69 euros.

Additional features include  the Rescue System for addressing software issues, the 24 hour Reset Service and Server Monitoring or 100 GB Backup Space.

Earlier this year, Hetzner Online’s Nuremberg data center park was shortlisted as a finalist in the “New Datacentre of the Year” category at the “6th International DataCentre and Cloud Awards 2013″.
