DreamHost launches new managed WordPress hosting offerings for advanced WordPress users

DreamHost, the leading web hosting provider, is expanding its Managed WordPress Service, DreamPress, with three new packages for advanced WordPress users.

DreamPress was launched in 2013 to bring affordable managed WordPress hosting to a large number of hosters. The DreamPress comes powered by open source cloud platform of DreamHost, called DreamCompute. It included solid-state drives (SSDs) and Automatic’s jetpack plugin.

To offer more options for powerful and purpose-built WordPress hosting, DreamHost launched three DreamPress packages: DreamPress Basic, DreamPress Plus, and DreamPress Advanced. The new packages are aimed at customers who want affordable hosting that closely meet their needs.

DreamPress Basic is for those WordPress users who are looking to step up from traditional WordPress hosting. It comes with automatic resource scaling, 5GB storage, and basic site backups. The DreamPress Basic plans start from $16.95 per month.

DreamPress Plus doubles the available storage space, and includes advanced VaultPress backup functionality. It comes with daily malware scanning and repair service, provides access to more than 200 WordPress themes, and Jetpack Professional at no additional charge. The DreamPress plans start from $24.95 per month.

DreamPress Advanced is a luxurious managed WordPress hosting solution, priced at $39.95 per month. It includes 15GB of SSD storage, and allows users to stage their sites in a sandbox before pushing to production. DreamHost provides up to five times technical support per month via telephone.

The new DreamPress plans are now generally available to both new and existing DreamHost customers.
