CtrlS Joins International Data Center Group

CtrlS, Indian colocation provider CtrlS (www.ctrls.in), made an announcement this week that it has joined the International Data Center Group (www.idc-g.com), an organization of data center operators across the globe.

With this, CtrlS becomes the 14th alliance member of the UK-based global data center organization.

The London-based IDC-G is a partnership of high-end data center operators around the world under a single, unified brand, according to the press release.

The handpicked members of the IDC-G alliance are “carrier-neutral and among the preeminent players in their respective national markets, with a strong focus on operations quality”.

Ctrl operates APAC’s first and only EPI certified Tier IV data center in High-tech City Facility in Hyderabad, India.

The company offers data center services and solutions to over 1,500 large and medium enterprises, including colocation, managed services, dedicated hosting, email hosting, disaster recovery, and cloud computing.

“The critical importance of India as a strategic market, for any young-and-ambitious or already-well-established companies, just cannot be emphasized enough,” said Guy Willner, executive chairman of International Data Centre Group. “Why CtrlS? It’s the best carrier-neutral datacenter in this massive market. We are extremely delighted to have CtrlS on board and looking forward to exciting deals and investments, locally and globally speaking.”
