Citrix  Unveils Citrix SaaS Advisor  program and an enhanced Citrix Solution Advisor program

Cloud Solutions provider  Citrix has unveiled Citrix SaaS Advisor  program and an enhanced Citrix Solution Advisor  program in a bid to expand it’s Global Channel Programs. The two new growth-oriented programs will make it easy for  Citrix’s partners to do business with them.

Existing partners can now grow greater revenue by selling complete mobility, desktop virtualization, cloud networking, cloud platforms, collaboration and data sharing solutions.

Changes to Citrix Solution Advisor program:
The enhanced CSA program has a simplified engagement model and is designed to provide partners with higher levels of competency and value in the customer sales and implementation process and a  transparent program advancement criteria.

Citrix’s certified partners can now expect to get significant upfront discount if their  opportunities registered with Citrix get validated. The said Opportunity Registration is also for cloud networking products like  Citrix NetScaler™.

Based on  program membership level, Differentiated Advisor Rewards  will enable Citrix Partners to  easily predict their return on investment in training and certifying personnel easily.

Citrix has also removed minimum requirements for Silver Solution Advisors in a bid make the Citrix partner program joining easier. With clear requirements, expectations and rewards,  the membership criteria will be now  more transparent.

In order to better address local market conditions and grow their relationship with Citrix, it’s partners’ sales and certification investments  will now be aligned to market size and maturity.

In order to keep up with the growing customer demand for niche skills and higher levels of competency, certification requirements for all Solutions Advisors have also been updated.

To achieve the updated certification requirements, Platinum and Gold Solution Advisors will receive complementary training subscription vouchers  as an annual program benefit. Silver partners need to meet  specific objectives for regional or global time-based promotions in order to qualify  for the said vouchers.

Citrix SaaS Advisor program
Designed to leverage the local and regional reach of the channel to deliver Citrix software-as-a-service applications as a stand-alone offering or part of a broader solution, CSSA, to rolled out with in a few  months, will  expand cloud channel offerings for Citrix partners, resellers, cloud marketplaces, cloud aggregators and telcos.  Some of the salient features of CSSA are:

  • SaaS resell and referral rewards programs for collaboration, support and data sharing with Citrix GoToMeeting™, GoToMyPC™, Podio™, GoToAssist™ and ShareFile™ products.
  • Additional ongoing investment in Citrix SaaS Advisors with marketing resources, reference designs and best practices.
  • Extended API support for integrating GoTo services into partners systems, cloud marketplaces and SaaS aggregators.

Citrix also plans to roll out additional enhancements to the Citrix Global Channel Programs over the next 18 months to deliver further channel value and partner differentiation to improve market reach, revenue and scale.
