Bill Strain, CTO of iomart Group Named IT Leader of the Year

DAILYHOSTNEWS, November 25, 2011 – Bill Strain, CTO of iomart Group , the UK managed hosting and cloud computing services company, has been named IT Leader of the Year at the inaugural IT Pro awards in London.

IT Pro is a leading website that provides business and technology decision-makers with global news, analysis and insight into IT. It launched its first awards this year to recognize ‘the best of the best’ in the IT industry in the UK.

Bill Strain said: “I’m delighted to have won this prestigious award on behalf of all the staff at iomart who have helped the company enjoy such a successful year. More and more customers are looking to us for cloud services and this award can only help us in our drive to become a leading and trusted provider of cloud computing and managed hosting.”

It has been another good year for the iomart Group during which Bill Strain has overseen the launch of a new cloud division Westcoastcloud and a new customer control panel for iomart Hosting’s customers plus the development of the company’s e-safety software Netintelligence for the iPad and iPhone.
