The partnership with enable Open-Xchange to reach out to European SMBs and provide them OX App Suite together with KPN’s cloud offerings.
OX App Suite will provide KPN business customers with a cloud-based desktop: An easy to use virtual business desktop that requires no installation and resides simultaneously on laptops, tablets and phones of varying types.
The partnership also brings into the environment Open-Xchange based functionality and integrated expansion capabilities that can be purchased at the click of a button and other KPN services.
This will help KPN increase its subscriber base while also adding further value to existing customer accounts.
KPN has begun to offer the OX App Suite to Germany’s third largest mobile network, E-Plus, with plans to make it available to other KPN-owned businesses in coming months.
Open-Xchange is using the Parallels Automation platform and the Application Packaging Standard (APS) to integrate the OX App Suite with other cloud services that KPN delivers to its SMB customers.
OX will present the new partnership and its recent integration capabilities at the OX Summit in Hamburg, Germany, September 26.
